First Genomics of Gene Regulation data made publicly available!

May 06, 2016

We're pleased to let you know we've released our first batch of data from our Genomics of Gene Regulation project. The data are available for immediate download through the ENCODE portal: RNA-seq and DNase-seq across 12 hours time of 100 nM dexamethasone treatment of human A549 cells. The ENCODE portal exists to share data developed with our grant from the National Human Genome Research Institute developing "better methods to construct predictive, accurate gene regulatory models using genomic data." The next batch of data are currently being completed and we look forward to sharing more data with the community as we move forward .

The Genomics of Gene Regulation projects aim to uncover the key molecular events that drive the gene expression responses in environmental responses and during cell differentiation. Other GGR project are currently underway at UCLA, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, UMass Medical and Stanford .
